Susan Irby, Founding Partner

With nearly 17 years in the real estate profession, Susan Irby founded Irby Real Estate Group in 2020. An award-winning sales professional across multiple industries, Susan personifies the modern real estate professional who provides knowledge and support throughout all aspects of real estate. She and her team of agents offer complete, discreet service to sellers, buyers, and investors of Southern California property with sales in the upper millions of dollars.

Susan joined REAL Brokerage in 2023 and partners with Justin Tye of Active Realty to provide the highest level of service to our customers. Active Realty is the #1 Mega Team in California and maintains exclusive relationships with esteemed real estate partners such as Realtor.com, OpenDoor, HomeLight, and Zillow where we coordinate efforts in the premiere Southern California counties.
Prior to joining Active Realty, Susan held her license at COMPASS Newport Beach and Surterre Properties Orange County.

Susan is also an award-winning author, radio and television show producer, and on-air personality. Her health and wellness programs have reached millions of people around the globe. Susan has been featured in The New York Post, FIRST for Women, PBS TV, FOX News, FOX.com, Good Day LA, NBC, CBS, KABC, KCAL9, KTLA, KTLK, KCBS, The Mail on Sunday UK, BBC Radio, and many more prestigious media outlets worldwide. Susan’s media experience encompasses television, film, radio, live theatre stage performances including stand-up comedy.

With a passion for assisting young women and families in need, Susan served on the Board of Trustees of St. Anne’s Los Angeles, was Board President for 3 years with the Daniel Freeman Hospitals Auxilary Guild, and volunteers her time for career counseling.

Susan has a love for international travel and formerly worked as a chef in Italy and France. Susan resides in Southern California and in addition to her real estate career, Susan is currently writing an illustrated children's book series based on her beloved dog, Homer.

A former Public Relations executive, Brandi Marshall has been providing solutions for her clients for over 15 years. Parlaying her expertise into the real estate profession as “the great communicator”, Brandi joined the boutique brokerage of Active Realty in January 2020 and became a team partner with Irby Real Estate Group that same year. Active Realty was the exclusive broker partner with the esteemed Zillow Group in 4 Southern California counties for 3 years and is now designated the #1 Mega Team in California.
